This poster explains how our research seeks to understand how patients, publics, and practitioners can engage meaningfully around animal research. In our work we are tracing the changing ways in which people are encountering animal research, as well as identifying how people affected by health conditions might contribute to the research practices and outcomes of animal research.

We're asking people to consider:

  1. What openness, engagement, or involvement activities do you think are interesting and innovative?
  2. What would valuable and meaningful patient contributions to animal research look like to you?
  3. What do you think are the implications of growing of patient and public involvement in upstream animal research?
